Join a dynamic engineering team at a Swiss technology leader. You’ll spearhead both hardware and firmware development—from PCB architecture and FPGA logic to real-time Linux (Yocto/Preempt-RT) firmware—on systems deployed globally.
🛠 Your Responsibilities
PCB Design & Handoff: Schematic capture, component selection, DFM for production (Altium Designer)
FPGA Development: Write VHDL logic for precision control and DSP offload
Embedded Firmware: Craft and optimize C++ on Yocto/Preempt-RT Linux
Industrial Interfaces: Integrate EtherCAT/FSoE, high-speed sensors, actuators
System Testing & Debug: Lab commissioning, field-debugging, EMC compliance
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Define requirements and drive delivery with hardware, software, and test teams
🎯 Your Profile
Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering or equivalent
5+ years’ proven experience in embedded hardware design & firmware
Strong C++ expertise on real-time Linux platforms (Yocto, Preempt-RT)
Proficient in FPGA/VHDL development
Altium Designer & PCB production know-how
Fluent in English; German B2+ (or willingness to improve)
